Hamingjudagar (Happy Days)
Theatre · Score · Sound design
2022
A production of the theatre classic Happy Days by Beckett. The obscure and unusual nature of this work called for a different approach to scoring. Eeriness and a sense of sonic distance was used.
The audience sat on the stage in the large music hall in Hof, facing the usual audience seating. The PA of the hall was facing away from the audience. A surround system installed on the stage created a very interesting sense of space and distance to the score.
