About
Icelandic new media composer, sound designer, audio engineer, and post-production mixer. Based in Copenhagen.
Originally a drummer and producer, he moved into working primarily with interactive and immersive compositions, often with visual and performative aspects. Since graduating from The Icelandic University of the Arts, most of his work has been scoring and sound-designing for theatre. He has received two nominations from the Icelandic Theatre Awards (Gríman) for best sound design.
Has over 6 years of experience as a live audio engineer and system tech, working at the Reykjavík City Theatre, Tivoli Copenhagen and freelance. Has worked on festival production at Lunga, Útkall and Distortion. Has also done engineering and post-production mixing for TV and film.
